What type of items are needed to fill the backpacks?

​

• Backpacks, yoga pants, tee shirts, socks, flip-flops, small blankets, wash cloths, towels, toiletries and hair care items.

• Toiletries include items such as toothbrush, comb, brush, feminine products, lotion, and deodorant.

• Other backpack considerations include a journal & pen (with a heartfelt note) and teddy bear.

• Local agencies may require full size items. 

 

How many backpacks will be collected?

• As a national event the goal is to collect a total of 1500 + backpacks 

 

How can people get involved? There are several ways to get involved:

​

• Individual donations of the items needed   

• Gift card donations

• Reach out to a local or small business for donations (i.e. Local dentist for toothbrushes,)

• Volunteer your time
