Girls In Future Technologies (GIFT) Day

 This will be a day of workshops and motivating speakers specifically for 6th –  8th grade girls to expose and inspire            

 exploration of new technologies and future career opportunities!  Women in History will in Costume!

 

 Visit with them and stamp your G.I.F.T. Day passports! Reg Now - Limited Seating!

For:   Girls grades 6-8 and accompanying parents (parents optional)

When:  Saturday, October 20th  9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Check-in at 9:00 a.m.)

 

Cost:  $20 per participant

Where:  AT&T, 5001 Executive Parkway, San Ramon, CA - Meet at West Wing Lobby Entrance

 

Program Details

Description

 GIFT Day features fun and interactive workshops and talks to inspire middle school girls to pursue technology

 careers. Open to all girls grades 6-8.  The day begins with a keynote discussion of safe internet practices

 followed by a series of workshops presented by leading Tech Industry professionals  from AT&T, AP42,

 Biotech Partners, CyberSN, Google, Patelco, and Techbridge, to name a few.

 Admission includes lunch and all program materials. Gift Day is presented by Women of AT&T Bay Area in

 partnership with Girl Scouts of Northern California.

Provided:

Lunch and workshop equipment.  Refrigerators available if attendees prefer to bring their own lunch

Some workshops utilize laptops, tablets and other equipment which will be provided.
